Group Sessions

Practice authentic style Pilates in a small group of no more than four people. Sessions are Reformer based and use additional apparatus as required. Sessions run for 55 minutes.

About the Sessions.

At The Pilates Loft we focus on an authentic approach to Pilates, the result is rapid toning, strength, improved posture and a longer, leaner form. The Pilates Method we use will strengthen and stretch you in a challenging way.

Suitable for all injury free clients we maintain a focus on the basic Pilates principles. There are over 500+ exercises in the Pilates System across a range of studio apparatus, which allows us to cater for beginners and the advanced and client.

Sessions primarily utilise the Reformer,  however floor work and other apparatus may also be used.

As participants become familiar with the Pilates repertoire additional exercises are added in order. Our aim is to evenly develop your strength and stretch to the point where can perform the full body conditioning Pilates repertoire on the Reformer.

How to book.

All our group classes are 55 minutes long and have a maximum of 4 people so we can work closely on your form and technique and actually teach and observe.

Each Small Group Session needs to be the appropriate mix of clients with similar experience, strengths, needs. There is no simple formula for this, it is not just a matter of X amount of classes equals X level of Pilates even allowing for modifications.

We need to ensure the sessions work for all four people, at times we split our sessions across two instructors if that is what is needed. As such we don't do online bookings.
